Good stuff!!! I only disagree with your assessment of THE PRINCESS BRIDE - but fully relate to the need to pretend to like something (all the Oceans 11 movies and anything George Clooney for me) for the sake of being 🆒

Ha, yes, Thanks to some feedback, I’m beginning to think I need to give PB another go. Perhaps I was watching it under duress and that shaded my view.

As someone who considers himself indoorsy, I hear ya with the Mediocre Outdoors. Your expression in the rafting pic is hilarious. No wonder that photographer was so excited; she had tons of those kinds of shots.

There were EIGHT people wearing convertible pants at your wedding? Are you friendly with a local cult or something?

Also, this should go without saying but apparently it doesn’t. NEVER opt for the doorless helicopter! Live out your M*A*S*H fantasy some other way, like building a still in your garage or renaming your son Radar.

My son’s name IS Radar!

Ok, friends, I'm curious-- what's on your F*ck It List?

Ok, I died laughing since I am sitting here wearing tevas and the shorts portion of my convertible pants. The best thing about them is pretending to your tweens that you will wear them with one leg on and one leg off. Worth every penny just for that.

Are you in or from the PNW??? Ok, convertible pants ARE quite clever, especially for people like me who hate being unprepared. And I guess appropriate for a wedding. You can turn them into shorts for the reception and get ready to party!

No, I'm in Arizona and I'm from the southeast, where convertible pants would never be acceptable! (Don't tell my mom I've worn these to church.) So there isn't really any excuse for me. I am the sort of person who would ask you if you have ever considered bikepacking, though.

BIKEPACKING??? That's not a typo I take it? :)

Because you know what would make bikepacking even more fun? The desert!

Yes! And I think you will find within you a wonderfully hilarious post either obliterating it to smithereens or sharing how much you loved it. I'm game for either 😂
